As the leader of Corporate Communications, he is responsible for building and maintaining a strong, positive corporate reputation for the Ominvest Group. A key part of his role is to foster investor trust and stakeholder engagement. By leading corporate communications and investor relations, he ensures that the company’s investment growth and sustainability initiatives are clearly and transparently communicated to stakeholders.
Waleed’s expertise extends to leveraging communications to highlight Ominvest’s commitment to social and environmental responsibility, which is integral to the company’s purpose of “Transforming Businesses to Enrich Societies”.
Throughout his career, Waleed has consistently delivered strategic human capital solutions that drive organizational success. Prior to joining Ominvest, he has held prominent leadership positions, including Group Head of Human Resources and Chief People Officer at leading business institutions in the Sultanate of Oman.
Waleed holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Hull and a Bachelor’s degree with honours in Finance Management. He also holds Executive Leadership certificate (COO Executive Programme) from INSEAD. Additionally, he has earned certifications in Merger & Acquisitions, Circular Economy, Innovation Management, Global Strategy Management, Performance Management, Project Management, and Risk Management.
