Rashad Al Zubair is the current Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ominvest. He is also the Chairman of The Zubair Corporation, one of the Sultanate’s leading diversified business groups, and has served as Chairman of Oman Arab Bank since June 1999. In addition, Al Zubair is the Chairman of The Zubair Holding SAOC and Oasis Water Company SAOC, as well as Vice Chairman of Barr Al Jissah Resort Co SAOC and Vice Chairman and a founding member of Muscat University.
Throughout his career, Al Zubair has held numerous board and leadership roles across prominent joint-stock companies. He previously served as Deputy Chairman of the Oman Business Council and was a member of its founding Board. He also served as Chairman of Oman-Lebanon Business Council in Oman and as the founding Chairman of Oman German Friendship Association. Furthermore, he served as a Director of the Financial Service Authority, the regulatory authority overseeing Muscat Stock Exchange, and was a member of Oman Centre for Governance and Sustainability.
